My Sky

Partly funded by NASA, this traveling exhibit introduces children to Astronomy by urging visitors to “Look Up!” It includes a 15’ diameter geodesic dome with a scale model of the moon suspended inside that allows visitors to touch and explore the moon; a black light-illuminated make-your-own-constellation board of fluorescent rubber bands; a backyard stargazing scene with a tent, sleeping bags, campfire and animals in a tree.

I was not the designer for this exhibit, but it was my first project at Boston Children’s Museum where it was already underway when I started.
